To help stop mosquitoes entering through an open window, the Window Net is a long-term physical barrier. Many customers combine two or three products for broader coverage.

Our range uses physical barriers (window nets), UV/electric devices, and ultrasonic devices instead of DEET sprays — none involve spraying chemicals on skin. That said, products with an electric grid or heat should be kept out of reach of young children and pets, and you should always follow the safety instructions included with each product.

The window net, UV lamp, and electric swatter work through straightforward physical mechanisms — blocking entry, or attracting and killing on contact — which is a well-understood approach to flying insects. Our ultrasonic products (the wristband and plug-in repeller) use a method with far less independent evidence behind it, so we'd treat those as a lightweight extra rather than your main line of defence.

DEET sprays contain chemicals that some people — especially children — may react to. Our products use physical and electronic methods to repel and trap insects without any chemicals touching your skin or entering the air in your home.
